WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

Solution focused hypnotherapy combines elements of talking therapy (SFBT), cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnosis. The focus is on helping individuals find solutions to their problems by building on their own strengths and resources, rather than dwelling on the past.

WHAT IS SOLUTION FOCUSED HYPNOTHERAPY?

Hypnosis is a tool used to help clients enter a state of deep relaxation and focused attention, making it easier to access their inner resources to make a positive change. It is an enjoyable experience, and the client remains in control throughout. 

WHAT CAN IT HELP WITH?

I work with clients who would like to overcome a wide range of issues, particularly those related to anxiety and stress.  Solution focused hypnotherapy can help clients dealing with many different challenges, from major life events to OCD, IBS and phobias. It can also be very effective for those wishing to enhance their performance in sport, their career or in an exam. I also have a special interest in women’s health, managing chronic pain, health anxiety and moving forward after trauma- where I draw from my own unique experiences as well as my training.
